 | Music Modules and Rap CD
What are these and how do you play?
The music modules are small plastic discs about the size of a 50 ent piece and about 1/4" thick. When you press on them a song plays for about 20 secs. The songs included in the kit are: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Old McDonald Had a Farm, The Farmer in the Dell, I've Been Working on the Railroad, and Yankee Doodle.
The teacher puts students into small cooperative groups of 4 or 5 and gives each a song module. The students then, make up a song using their vocabular words from the unit the teacher just finished teaching.
Students may also choose to use the rap CD which contains 6 different beat recordings to make a rap about things in the unit the teacher has just finished teaching.
