Dual Encoding
What is it?
It is a method that you can employ to enhance your students' test performance by more than 20%!
How does it work?
The teacher makes up vocabulary sheets with the words running down the left side of the page, accompanied by a line drawing. The students take notes on the meaning of the words from the text and then add to them the next day in class when the teacher explains about the vocabulary words and talks about the picture.
