What is it?
This is a demonstration in which each student is given a packet of 20 line drawings. The students are to reproduce the drawings on blank paper.
How do you play?
Each student is given a packet of line drawings and several sheets of blank paper. The students are told to turn the line drawing packet upside-down. They then reproduce what they see, which will result in two upside-down line drawings on their desks.
What does this demonstrate?
- It demonstrates the functional asymmetry of the hemispheres of the brain.
- It shows how the "judging" hemisphere can be shut off.
- It allows the students to actively learn that they really can draw.
- It shows how much of drawing is hand/eye coordination.

- 1 packet of 20 line drawings which can be reproduced to make a classroom set
- 1 set of directions on how to run the demo
