 | Q-sort of Fears
What is it?
This is a survey project designed to measure how fearful a subject is of 24 different objects or situations. Each object or situation name is printed on a card.
How do you play?
The researcher sits the subject down at a table and identifies the four locations on the table with masking tape. On one tape strip the researcher writes, "definetely fearful, " on the next, " at times fearful," on the next, "rarely fearful," on the last, "never fearful." The researcher then instructs the subject to lay down the cards under the appropriate piece of tape. After the subject has laid down all the cards, the researcher records the data on a chart.
